What languages are classes in?

Vietnamese or English, depending on the cohort. Written material is generally provided in both.

Do the investing courses tell me what to buy?

No. They teach how to analyse and how to think about risk. We are not licensed to give investment advice and will not do so in a classroom either.

Do you teach beginners?

Yes, for most subjects. Where a course assumes prior knowledge, the prerequisites are stated up front rather than discovered in week three.

SofinWave Academy

SofinWave Academy teaches what our team does for a living, plus school tutoring for grades 1 to 12. The engineering material started as our internal onboarding — the documents we wrote to bring new engineers up to speed — and the rest grew from the same habit of writing things down properly. Small groups, working examples, and instructors who still do the work.

What we teach

Four areas, taught by people who practise them rather than by career instructors.

Software engineering: TypeScript, backend systems, architecture, and testing.
AI in practice: building and evaluating LLM applications rather than theory.
Investing literacy: how to read a company and think about risk. Not advice.
Content production: filming, editing, and writing that holds attention.
School subjects, grades 1-12: maths, sciences, and English.

How the classes run

Small groups, with real work rather than lectures. Every session ends with something the student has built, solved, or written.

Small cohorts, so questions get answered when they are asked.
Projects and exercises drawn from problems we have actually faced.
Recorded sessions and written material to review afterwards.
Taught in Vietnamese or English.

On the investing courses

These teach how to read financial statements, understand risk, and think about valuation. They are financial education, not investment advice — we are not licensed advisers, we will not tell anyone what to buy, and no course outcome should be read as a promise of returns.

On school tutoring

For grades 1 to 12 we teach maths, sciences, and English, and we are honest about the scope: this is small-group tutoring built around understanding rather than a full curriculum replacement, and it works best alongside school rather than instead of it.
